Mornings With McElroy-Thursday Dudley Awards, Kobe And Things You Should Know, And NFL Madam

Mornings with McElroy on this Thursday saying Congratulations to Taylor Heinicke for winning the Dudley Award for best player in Virginia.

The Dudley Awards are always a great night attending the Dudley Award Banquet seeing fine people like Bobby Ross who I spent a good 30 minutes catching up with and talking football, which is always a treat. I got to spend a few minutes with VT Associate head coach Shane Beamer, who told me his daughters rejoiced upon hearing the Hokies were headed to a Bowl in Orlando, not for the fact it would keep Grandpa's streak of 20 bowls alive but rather it was another trip to Disney World.

Also good to see players like UVA's Steve Greer, UR Cooper Taylor and Ben Edwards, and always great to see the HOF Willie Lanier and an outstanding job by CBS6 Lane Casadonte for his emceeing of the event.
