Mornings with McElroy for Friday November 16 where UVA is waking up to realize their season will end next Saturday.
Virginia falls to UNC by being beat but also reverting to their old ways of turnovers, bad penalties, and inability to make plays.
From yesterday:Things I'm Watching for Tonight
1) Can the 2 QB Rotation keep effective? So far so good but Can Rocco and Sims keep their effectiveness going and generating points as they have over the past 2 weeks. (13 wasnt going to cut it and it didnt't. Either did the rotation of QB's. Odd moments where right after Sims throws a TD, Rocco comes in. Rocco throws an INT but comes back in?) Priority #1 of the offseason:find a QB.
2) Turn it over, not turn it over-The pick 6 by Rocco hurt and so did getting a Gio Bernard fumble on the punt team and only turning it into a Field Goal.
3) Control Gio Bernard on the ground and on returns.-All in all UVA did a good job except for his pull away TD reception to cap off a 99 yard drive in the 4 quarter. That was the beginning of the end.
Onto this weekend and we will see if Virginia Tech can keep their bowl hopes alive.....(if anybody besides the team still cares?)
