Mac McDonald's Bio

A radio and television personality for over 35 years, Mac has been a play by play broadcaster for two major universities and has free lanced for Fox Sports South, the Atlantic Coast Conference, and The Golf Channel.

A five-time state Sportscaster of the Year in North Carolina and Virginia, Mac has worked for ISP Sports, CBS Collegiate Sports, and Host Communications.

Mac has just finished writing his first book, a biography on former ACC Commissioner and Notre Dame Athletic Director Gene Corrigan and was published in Chicken Soup for the Soul; Inside Basketball. Mac has also written a management seminar entitled "Life's Game Plan."

An avid golfer, Mac hosts his own charity golf tournament. The Mac McDonald Invitational has raised over $700,000 for the University of Virginia Children's Hospital.
