As we go into the final week of the season in the Central Region the questions are who will make the playoffs and how will the matchups look...
First let's look at Division 6...
Hermitage, Meadowbrook and LC Bird have won district titles. The 4th team will be the Varina/Highland Springs winner.
If Highland Springs wins, it will be the 1 seed and Hermitage will be the 2 seed. If Varina wins, Hermitage will be #1 and the Blue Devils #2. That assumes the Panthers beat PH.
Meadowbrook and Bird are very close for 3rd and 4th. If the Monarchs beat Matoaca and get points from Godwin or Manchester they will be #3 and the Skyhawks will be #4 even with a win over Clover Hill and a 10-0 record. Godwin meets Freeman and Manchester takes on Midlothian.
Now for Division 5...
Nobody has clinched. Lee-Davis faces Atlee in a rivalry game. If the Confederates win they will be the 1 seed. If Dinwiddie beats Petersburg it will be the 2 seed, or the 1 seed if LD loses.
Hanover meets Glen Allen, Hopewell faces Prince George, and Midlothian takes on Manchester. Barring monumental upsets Hopewell is in with a win as is Midlothian. That means Hanover needs a win and a Midlothian loss or a Lee-Davis loss to Atlee.
Atlee is still a alive but needs a win over Lee-Davis and needs 2 from Hanover, Hopewell and Midlothian to get in. Not likely.
Now to sum up. First for the sake of argument we will assume wins by Hanover, Hopewell and Dinwiddie.
If Lee-Davis and Midlothian win, seeds 1 to 4 will be L-D, Dinwiddie, Hopewell, Midlothian.
If L-D wins and Midlothian loses, it will be L-D, Dinwiddie, Hopewell, Hanover.
If L-D and Midlothian both lose, it will be Dinwiddie, Hopewell, Hanover, L-D.
If L-D loses and Midlothian wins, it will be Dinwiddie, Hopewell, Midlothian, Hanover.
